* Students are required to read 1 (one) book from the "Classic's" Reading List and complete the Book Summary Sheet.

(They may choose a book from a higher grade level's list if they'd like.)

* Students are required to read and log a specific number of pages per grade level:

~ 6th Grade = 600 pages

~ 7th Grade = 700 pages

~ 8th Grade = 800 pages

(The book you select from the "Classic's" list DOES count toward the total number of pages.  All other pages

can be accumulated from any other grade appropriate books as approved by your parent/guardian.)

* Book Summary Sheets and Reading Logs are due to your English Teacher by August 19, 2011.
